Reduce the costs of your shop at Wild Oats when you join us in helping reduce plastic waste:

Bring your own reusable bags or containers to the till before you scoop and you will be charged a lower price for your loose food products (the same as the over 2kg price).

We have an extensive range of loose goods; from organic brown rice to fairtrade dried mango, from organic black turtle beans to organic porridge oats.

Bag a Bagga Bag at Wild Oats!

We are now also selling locally handmade, reusable, cotton produce bags. Ideal for fresh groceries and for bringing to Wild Oats for savings on your scoop & weigh purchases!

Serving natural foods to the Redland and Clifton communities since 1981

We’re Wild Oats, and we’re more than your average health food store. Sure, we have a truly extensive range of organic and whole food, natural remedies, beauty and household products, but it’s our staff and our ties to the local Bristol community which makes the real difference.

Our friendly team are not only eager to assist you, but many of them have a deep level of knowledge in specialised fields and are health practitioners in their own right.

So pop in for a visit to our shop on Lower Redland Road and find out how we can help you.

Looking after your health and your planet

We are an independent Bristol business and are careful to recruit individuals who share our passion for health and the environment. We also continually re-evaluate our use of resources.

From using alternatives in packing materials, expanding our already large refillables section and offering discounts to customers who bring in their own re-usable containers for scoop & weigh, to recycling as much as possible and using local and organic suppliers; all these little things add up to reducing the total impact we have on the environment.

Sustainable, organic, natural

The tide has truly changed and eating healthily and as organically and/or as locally as possible is becoming mainstream. We have seen the dawning of interest in the whole cycle of food production.

We want to know that our food is being grown in an ethical manner without chemicals and that the producers are getting a fair deal.

Fresh, local, fairly traded and organic food benefits not only the environment and the producers but also the health of you, our valued customer.

Shopping at Wild Oats you can be confident that we have done all in our power to support, protect and promote the environment, our suppliers and your health.
